27. Super Space Blaster Centi-Asteroid Invaderpedes 2
Track List Reveal for Steam Powered Giraffe: The Vice Quadrant: A Space Opera
Track #27 - Super Space Blaster Centi-Asteroid Invaderpedes 2
Written by Isabella Bunny Bennett“Rabbit: Oh my, this gives me an idea for a song.
Lessee…lets just…grab the accordion here…
You’re such a whale
You’re a big big whale…No, that’s no good…”
Day 7 of mail-watching
There is a very, extremely slim chance that some charitable soul has dropped off my copy of Vice Quadrant into my mailbox.
Extremely slim.
Astronomically remote.
And yet, I am actively preventing myself from going out to check and see.
…hargleblargle…
26. Necrostar

Track #26 - Necrostar
Written by Isabella Bunny Bennett“Wolves. Saturn knew best.
Gnaw on the bone. Consume your own.”
Day 6 of mail-watching
I just went out to check the mailbox on a Saturday. Based entirely on the very slim hope that, on Friday afternoon, the postman doubled back with my copy of Vice Quadrant.
Weeabot trash confirmed.
This is going to be a rough 48 hours, folks.
25. Oh No

Track #25 - Oh No
Written by Written by David Michael Bennett“Dressed in a tattered space suit,
his helmet smashed, his eyes glowing so bright
With the grip of his hands he tore through the hull,
dooming the ship and every woman and man…”

Day 5 of mail-watching
Yep. The postal system has lost track of my parcel.
Highly sarcastic yay. With a pile of WTF on the side.
I know for a fact that a postal plane can not stay aloft for 24 hours or longer, so it’s highly likely that my copy of Vice Quadrant is in this country.
Either today, or Monday, I get it in my grabby little hands.
And THEN, my dear readers, I will turn into a ravening, foaming, weeabot spoilerbeast and liveblog my reactions and scatterbrained theories. Under a cut and appropriately tagged, of course.
You have been warned.
I can’t not share something I adore.
Yeah turns out I’m not getting it today.
I have to wait until Monday before I have a chance.
Boo…

Written by Sam Luke“Spine: Rabbit are you ready?
Rabbit: Oh, you bet your butt I’m ready.
Spine: Hatchworth are you ready?
Hatchworth: Yes, but I’m not certain what for.”
Day 4 of mail-watching
My copy of Vice Quadrant has moved into LA, and then out of LA.

The last time I ordered anything, this is where the tracking system failed to keep track of it. Tomorrow(at the latest), it will be in Brisbane. Then I have an entire weekend of anguish because nobody in Australia Post works during the weekends.
Tracking it locally is no help. I’ve tried. AusPost just does not deign to signify dirty foreign mail. Euuuuw…
Even our postal service is a xenophobic dick.
BUT!
I should be getting VQ within days of the release date. Yay.
Meanwhile… asdfghjkl… the feels when you are trying to will a plane to fly faster.
