Sara Louise Adrien, from my XME OC days. She was an over-tall ectomorph whom everyone mistook for a “confused” boy named Adrian Essel [Adrien, S.L.]
Of course she’s a mutant. With the power to… blend into the scenery. Her skin is a whole bunch of aqua-shaded chromataphores and she can’t change her clothes when she changes her skin. Enter - biomimetic fabric. A relic from an alien crash that has been duplicated with much effort by the military. It’s rare, so there’s not a lot of it to cover the essentials. Good thing it bonds with human skin [but not painfully so] on contact.
I created her as a deliberate subversion of pretty much most OC tropes as well as a lot of the comic tropes that I was very tired of at the time [like - lack of internal organs, toast-rack ribcages and zero gravity cantaloupe boobs.
Pretty sure her story is still up on FFN somewhere. And I think I also put some up on AO3.
