Daily OpusEverything I write is freely rebloggable. Just keep the source and tell people about my books :D [Until I decide otherwise, my pronouns are Ze/Hir/Hirself. As in "Ze went to the shops to get hir medication hirself". Thank you for the respect.]
Capricious, a new magazine of literary speculative fiction and commentary, will debut its first issue this September. Editor A.C. Buchanan is seeking literary and experimental fiction, as well as non-fiction essays about speculative fiction.
The magazine aims to publish the literary/experimental/slipstream part of speculative fiction, including fiction that examines the connection between an environment and its inhabitants,
stories about disability that elude the familiar tropes, and stories that explore gender.
Title: Not Dancing Alone Summary:
Dancing has always been something Iris kept to herself, but after walking in on her one night, Peter offers to teach her how to slow dance.
A/N:
because Iris is totally a secret hopeless romantic and Peter is a total dork and because there’s a startling lack of fluffy, sappy peteriris fics and i just had to fix that. also just note that i have barely any idea about the 18/1900’s sO there’s bound to be little things off here and there. just don’t look too deep into it. and i have no clue when this takes place in the timeline. basically: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ hope you enjoy
Woah, I actually uploaded a song for the first time in, what, five months? Anyway, this is a cover of Steam Powered Giraffe’s song, “Automatonic Electronic Harmonics”. Hope you enjoy! Also, check out SPG if you’re not familiar with them. Their music is wonderful and I certainly don’t do their vocal ranges justice!
(I was looking around and asking if there were any rules regarding making covers, and I didn’t find any, but I’m prepared to take this down if the band wants me to. I saw some other covers on YouTube, so I hope it’s alright that I posted it!)
(Note: The Book of Mormon link keeps breaking. If it happens to be broken when you want to watch it, send me an ask and I’ll give you the link. Same goes for any other musical if the link breaks.)
(You never know when this will be updated, so remember to check the original post! You might find that I’ve added another musical since you’ve reblogged/liked the post!)
(Note: No longer providing credit for tips on links. A bunch of the links broke when I was trying to edit this again, so I just cleaned them. Sorry. Thanks to those who have provided links in the past for this list, though!)
