Challenge #02787-G230: A Necessary Education
All of the Top Schools, get ‘problem students’, some get rid of the fast. Our Lady of Purity embraced them. – Anon Guest
[AN: Throwback to this thing in case you were wondering]
Somewhere in the known universe, there is a paradise. Nothing sharp exists there. The weather is always balmy and pleasant. The sands are soft on the beaches, and the shells are always pretty. Somewhere, sweet water flows and the air is full of birdsong. This is not that place. It is, in fact, almost the exact opposite.
Rioting in the streets, buildings on fire, exploding, or in the process of collapse. Screaming and terror. Some survivors dragging the injured to a place of better respite. Grown men run in terror from a tiny little girl who is currently sucking her thumb as she surveys the latest example of pyromania with satisfaction.
A select group of students from Our Lady of Purity Preparatory School for Young Ladies of Distinction have done for this place. They are not done with it yet. After all, Planetary Takeovers are just one possible merit badge. There’s also Rebuilding Society. These girls aim to collect.

Challenge #02675-G118: The Bad Old Ways
A human got tired of the crew saying that humans are insane, so they decide to show their crew what true human insanity looks like by taking them on a field trip to the nearby insane asylum. (Bonus points if Said asylum happens to be Arkham Asylum.) – Cheshire
[AN: Punishing the mentally disabled for being mentally disabled is not the best way to deal with that sort of thing. Besides, insanity is a matter of perspective, as I keep stating in my stories. Your perfectly logical is my mentally deranged, as it were. More thoughts on this over here]
“Please stop calling me that,” said Human Shay. “They’d lock insane people up and hurt them and stuff.”
Companion Lree stopped walking and said, “They do this where you are from?” They were immediately concerned. Not just for Human Shay, but also for her fellow citizens back ‘home’.
Human Shay fell quiet, as she was wont to do when someone asked her questions about her place of origin. Companion Lree read the mood and said, “You are free of them, now. You can speak without fear.”

Very interesting…
Challenge #02583-G026: Ma Yub
There are two kinds of parents. There’s the kind that thinks their children should have the experiences that they had when they were a child, and there’s the kind that thinks their children should have something better than that.
The problem with being that second kind, I’ve found, is that it’s hard to give your children something better when you don’t really know what that looks like. – Anon Guest
Bringing up the next generation of cogniscent life is never easy. Certainly, the basic caretaking falls into a pattern. Clean, dress, feed, and hold. Communication in all its forms tends to take place anyway. It’s after the child surpasses the basic needs that the trouble begins, because education will occur whether the parent thinks they’re doing it or not.
The two primary patterns of parenting are Sharing, and Expansion. Sharing includes all the good experiences of the parental childhood into the experiences of the child. Expansion improves on the past of the parent, so that the child has a better life. Easy for some.
Dan knew that he couldn’t Share. Not his childhood, with the terrible neglect and the yelling and the harsh blows for the least infraction. The shouted, “Did that teach you? Did that teach you?” with his parents looming over him. It taught him, all right. It taught him things that it took years of therapy to get over. It taught him what not to do with an iron rod and the threat of hellfire. He was, he hoped and prayed, the very last of the Abused Generation, doing his utmost to see that his children could not ever suffer. So far, so good. It was the next step that had him baffled.

Progress pix! Working on a more detailed promo pic for the Sleep Evil Sleep project. Since today’s pretty busy, I had to stop partway. Enjoy.
So it looks like trans women being able to bear children is much closer than I thought
Uterus Transplants have successfully been completed (for cis women) in the last few years:
One (cis) woman has given birth so far from a transplanted uterus
A trans woman has stepped forward to be the first to attempt this proceedure
And finally, science can now grow (cis women) a vagina from their own stem cells
If the transplant people start talking to the stem cell people, this might be viable in my life time!
OH MY GOD! this makes me so happy because i know so many trans women who want to have children :) eeeeee im hoping for everyone who wants this!
