I’ve been trying for literal years to get my hands on a legal copy of the A Monster in Paris soundtrack. Preferably in English. It was NEVER available in iTunes. Not in Australia.
I can’t get it via Spotify
Bandcamp doesn’t seem to have it.
Ebay and Gumtree fucking suck because no quality control.
Amazon won’t sell it to me from the US site and the Aus site just plain doesn’t have it.
I tried ordering it via an actual store and they said the manufacturer stopped making them.
My only recourse, shy of asking all of you, my dear readers, is looking up the latest answer to Pirate Bay and bootlegging that fucker. I would rather keep to the law, please.
So. With all that in mind. Where can I legally get a copy of that CD?

What I can’t find to save my soul is an audiobook publisher who is NOT affiliated with Audible.com.
Audible demands that everything published through them is also published through Amazon. You know them. They’re the arseholes that own your book’s rights if you publish via them.
I’d rather keep my rights to my books, thankyouverymuch.
So.
If no such audio publisher exists… I am on the look-out for podcasters who are willing to do readings/serialisations of my books, starting with Kung Fu Zombies. I will give the audiobook away FOR FREE rather than give my rights away to Amazon.

im a broke pre-T trans guy who goes to university full time. i just started working at my uni, but all that money is going to pay for college stuff and bills so i dont have much money on my own nor do i currently have family who supports my transition. im super dysphoric and everyday im getting more and more aware of how i only have three articles of mens clothing and the rest are dresses, low cut womens shirts (which i cant wear with my binder Anyways) and other “feminine” stuff (literally i basically only have leggings as pants and its killing me). i really need to start replacing my wardrobe with more “masculine” things so if you even have a dollar to spare, i would appreciate any donation to my paypal! This is a post that I never really wanted to make, but unfortunately things have gotten that bad.
As a bit of background, I’m a 17 year old trans person from a low income family in Eastern Canada. Up until the age of 11, my parents and I lived in an apartment in a bad part of town, surviving on income support. Five years ago we moved to a house that my grandparents purchased, where we’ve been living rent free.
My stepfather is the only one working to support us because my mother and I are both mentally ill and legally disabled. He had a stable job and we were living comfortably for several years, until he quit his work due to physical ailments and found something less strenuous. He was promised the same pay as his old job, but it turns out that was a lie.
Unfortunately as of now my stepfather is only working a maximum of one or two days a week, meaning his pay checks are almost non existent, and we’re having to choose between bills and food. I am autistic and I have a selective eating disorder, but these days we can usually only afford to buy a few of my safe foods at a time, so I’m living on one meal a day.
We usually use tax season to get back on our feet, but this year our tax return was $5,000.00 and we owed every penny to my grandparents. As of now, I’m already $600.00 in debt with my grandmother and I don’t know how much my parents owe her. My grandparents are in their 60s and looking into retirement, but they can’t do that and support my family at the same time.
At the end of the day, $300.00 a month is simply not enough to look after three people, two cats, and a dog. When I turn 18 I will be eligible for board and lodging supplements, but there’s another six months to go before we can apply, and until then we are out of luck. I’m at a complete loss and this is my last resort.
