Day 4 of mail-watching

My copy of Vice Quadrant has moved into LA, and then out of LA.

The last time I ordered anything, this is where the tracking system failed to keep track of it. Tomorrow(at the latest), it will be in Brisbane. Then I have an entire weekend of anguish because nobody in Australia Post works during the weekends.

Tracking it locally is no help. I’ve tried. AusPost just does not deign to signify dirty foreign mail. Euuuuw…

Even our postal service is a xenophobic dick.

BUT!

I should be getting VQ within days of the release date. Yay.

Meanwhile… asdfghjkl… the feels when you are trying to will a plane to fly faster.

I think now would be a great time to encourage people to tag spoilers of Vice Quadrant, once they get their copies. #VQspoilers

Day 2 of mail-watching

We know there’s boxes of mail. There have been pictures.

Mine’s in there somewhere. When it gets posted, that’s when I can track my copy of Vice Quadrant.

I’m trying not to obsessively refresh the tracking service but I’m failing.

Maybe it’s in the system now…

Vice Quadrant CDs all ready to be shipped off tomorrow! I’m packing these babies all weekend. When your shipping label is printed, an automated email is sent that says “your order has shipped”. If you can’t find your package online using your tracking number, fear not! It just means I haven’t brought it to the post office yet. This will happen while I’m working weekends.
Some of you will be getting these very soooon.

I think I see my order in there…

My first guess would have been Doctor Who (actual episode) but if it’s a song, I would blondly speculate that it sounds like something David Bowie would have sung in the 70s.

The guitar rhythm in the opening is VERY reminiscent of Doctor Who.

I also get a kind of Flash Gordon Movie feel from it. Like over the top electro rock glam who-knows-what vibe.

GOD that song was an eargasm.
