I’m looking for title art
If you’ve read my recently-published tale, Late Bloomer and have any artistic talent, please post or send me something.
I’m looking to share Late Bloomer on EqD and they like it when you have art for a title page.
If anyone, anywhere, loves the story enough to make some non-spoilery fan art, please send it to cat@internutter.org or even post it as a reply here. Or send me a link to where you posted it. Whatever.
I need that art. You got that art?
Late Bloomer (Story!)
Finally finished this about two months after I started it.
Warning: Long story is LOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGG
Reblog for great justice?
Proof that Derpy Hooves is not offensive to the group that the squeaky wheels are trying to protect (can I add the term “coverlove” to my dictionary?)

“Don’t make me go away?” – by me
I love Derpy. I love her even more now that she’s had a few lines in the show. Now, some folks seem to think that Derpy and her portrayal is “ableist”. I think it’s quite the opposite.
There are kids out there who have learning difficulties. They are going to have to deal with people like Rainbow Dash who don’t have or won’t take the time to explain things to them. Who blow up in rage at them for (seemingly, to the kid) no reason.
As far as Derpy was concerned, for that one [now controversial] scene, she was just playing with a lightning cloud. Having fun. And then everything went wrong, somehow.
Derpy could so easily become a hero for kids with learning disabilities, and for kids with mental disabilities. But only if she’s allowed to stay on screen. If she’s taken off by a group of easily-offended squeaky wheels [Yes, I’m looking at you, Yamino. Is your kind-hearted, clumsy ditz the only one allowed around, or something?] then we never will have that chance.
Give Hasbro and co. the chance to redeem themselves with more positive portrayals of Derpy.
They gave Derpy her name and her voice because we, as Bronies, Pegasisters and fans, kept bloody asking for it. What right have we to be up in arms because we got what we asked for?
[the voice actor for] GLaDOS [reads a script in which her character] writes to Princess Celestia.
OMG this is the shiznit.

I think I just died from overexposure to awesome.
Should I run a pony-based draw blog?
I know my art sucks, but I should at least try to improve and this looks like it might keep me in practice. And, let’s face it, I would be hella slow.
What say you?
What the Flying Heck?
I’m new to drawing on a tablet device and my art skills are not the best.
That’s why I chose to fingerpaint some ponies as humans and share the results with you.
Each humanised pony took about two hours for me to get right. And I still hate what happened with the hands and feet. I suck at both.
By the time I was done focussing on the important part, I was all fgsfds when it came to doing the backgrounds.
I had already decided to do cell-style colouring, hence the lack of shading and depth, so abstract backgrounds made a kind of sense.
Each block of text had to be put in one line at a time, owing to the restrictions of the art program I was using. Sometimes, I didn’t get it quite right.
And why did I post them once a day?
So I could plump out my post queue, of course :)
That, and someone has to encourage the less-brave artists out there who aren’t confident about matching some of the eye-popping pony artists out there. If I can share my sack of suck with everyone, you can have a go, can’t you? You may be pleasantly surprised.
