In May of 2013, Alexander City, Alabama police officer Troy Middlebrooks was secretly recorded proposing the murder of a black resident, saying that he could hide evidence in order to make the proposed killing look like it was in self-defense, according to a report published by the Guardian Tuesday morning.
But after Vincent Bias, the man Middlebrooks proposes killing in the recording, played the tape to the Alexander City police chief and mayor, the officer was allowed to keep his job, and the city paid Bias $35,000 in a private settlement to avoid publicly being sued, according to the report. In the recording, Middlebrooks can be heard saying that [Bias], whom he allegedly referred to as “that nigger” off tape, “needs a god damn bullet.”
Same old story. Cop gets a paid holiday and the future murder victim gets insufficient hush money to get the hell away from his murderer.
Two weeks, tops, after this cop gets off his holidays? I’m willing to bet that Vincent Bias “turns up dead”.

I put this in my queue. How many more lives have been ended early because of racism?
Neighbors call police to a Suburb in McKinney,Texas when they learn that a family Invited “too many Black People” to their pool party . Cops Brutalize only black kids.
A McKinney police officer has been placed on administrative leave after a video that had surfaced online of an officer responding to a disturbance at a pool party in Craig Ranch with violence aimed only at the black teens.
The video shows the officer pulling a 14-year-old girl down and shoving her face first on the ground. When several other teenagers tried to help their friend, the video shows the officer pulling out his weapon and aiming it at them. The teenage girl could be heard screaming on the video, “I want to call my mom!!”
Kevin Moore filmed the police brutally arresting Freddie Gray. That footage went viral and began all of the protests that have been flooding the streets of Baltimore and sweeping the nation ever since. Now, after claiming the police had been harassing and intimidating him after he went public with the footage, Kevin Moore and two members of Cop Watch, have been arrested tonight.
Moore said on Saturday that he is the man who filmed the arrest, but he was concerned that his name and image had been released. No sooner than they were, the harassment began.
“What is so important that you have to plaster my picture over the Internet? I’ve already spoken,” Moore explained.
Shortly after Moore filmed his arrest, Gray, 25, was suffered a spinal cord injury in police custody on April 12th, and died a week later.
Moore explained that he had already spoken at length with two detectives in the Police Department’s Office of Internal Oversight and given them his video of the incident. But the police posted his photo and told the public that he was “wanted for questioning” and asked people to identify him.
But they already knew who he was. What were they trying to prove, or was this all about harassing him?
Tonight, the Baltimore Police answered that question for us. They arrested Kevin Moore who was with two members of Cop Watch.
Moore explained that Gray was a friend of his and he has to speak up.
What can you to do help Moore, Chad Jackson and Tony White who were arrested with him?
Call the Baltimore Police Department at (410) 545-8122 and demand that they release these innocent men now! Then help us SPREAD THE WORD!
“Officers use these minor violations as an excuse to stop, question and search almost anyone on wheels,” the investigation report reads. “The department doesn’t just condone these stops, it encourages them, pushing officers who patrol high-crime neighborhoods to do as many as possible.” The Times report added that Tampa has issued 2,504 bike tickets within the last three years — which the newspaper said was more than were given in the Florida cities of Jacksonville, Miami, St. Petersburg and Orlando combined. But police say that they are targeting high-crime neighborhoods, and that by aggressively punishing bicycle violations, they’re helping to thwart further criminal activity.
Nearly 80% of all ticketed in the city for bike infractions were black, and 60% of enforcement was focused on majority black communities. #staywoke #farfromover
