Trying out some face designs. Rabbit’s face is pretty darn complicated, so simplifying it no getting it to read as ‘Rabbit’ is a process.

Tracing over models is super-effective, you guys. This is good practice for how bodies work.

I left in the blobby bits from where the tablet malfunctioned. Except the bits where the brush suddenly went to Godzilla size.

Not going to do this for the animatic. It’s just practice.

Going to raid some stock photo sites for some action poses to try and draw Rabbit like that, next. Boots, hat, face, flappy bits and all.

Trying to learn how boots go and remember what Bunny’s boots look like. As I recall, Bunny has lower, chunkier heels than the regular fashion boot, or she’d tower over the entire world. And her boots are slightly more practical anyway. Better for kicking arse ;)

I’m procrastinating at starting the entire project. Can anyone recommend a simple animation program that even a dummins like me can use. Like, baby-easy. Or grandparent easy.

Actually, the latter might be preferable. I don’t want a steep learning curve trashing this project just as I’m getting motivated to actually firkin do it.

I never liked the black panties because black always reads as an oily void with the automatons. Red panties are right out because there’s connotations… so I went with pink and tied it together with the fingerless gloves.

Hatch worth is so damn tricky to draw. I’m gonna hate the sequence he’s in. Despite the fact that I love the bot.

Deciding what I’m going to be drawing more than 2 dozen times. This is more “notes to self” than any design choices. I’m going to ditch the shin lines. They’ll just confuse viewers.

I might yet cheat and make Rabbit’s legs stripy.
