Doodle a day double feature!

Forgot to post yesterdays and only realised when I was doing today’s.

Story time for the first one: One of the local magpies decided to invade the house and not firkin leave. It repeatedly refused to exit by one of the many doors and windows we tried to shoosh it towards and just randomly hung out wherever it lit.

It took us all about half an hour of swearing and random waving motions to finally get that bird the hell out of the house.

Nothing of value was pooped on. Yay.

The second one is a study of a real thing that happened to be in my field of view.

Not much in the way of genuine practice, here. I should try to do something hard.

I deliberately set out to draw the worst possible representation of a cartoon character. I didn’t even think of any popular television characters until literally the last instant.

Beloved and I went to see Allegiant, last night. So I was a little mentally fried.

So I drew an eye.

I must have done a million eyes when I was in high school. Always left eyes for some reason. Is it a Handedness thing? IDK.

It’s @bunnybennett‘s creations, Liv and Di, the Walter Witches.

Di is canonically super perky and outgoing while her twin sister is pretty much the opposite. They both have blue skin and, at least in my headcannon, jet-black hair.

I have moved beyond people facing to the left!

I can also draw creatures facing to the left!

More stencil design. This time, it’s for Bitzer’s eyebrow markings.

This is more inspired by Amanda Palmer(I think that’s her name… Neil Gaiman’s SO] and her intricately done eyebrows.

Plus - Victorian era beginnings for my fanbot == intricate details.

I’m a very detail-oriented little nerd.

I did a The Spine!

Because I’m one of those anal retentive people who don’t like all my babies missing out or something.

I still fail at Bennett faces. I should really use references when I doodle :P I think I overdid the cheekbones.

And I chickened out at the hat.
