Watched a documentary on algorithms and learned that bees are helping to solve the Traveling Salesman.

So of course I drew a bee with a little B-Co briefcase.

I wanted to do some face detail, but obviously…

I fuk’d up.

Another Gem persona. Amber.

She was an experiment. After Rose Quartz rebelled, they tried replicating her power with a different type of healing gem. They made a large Amber, but she ‘hatched’ small [slightly smaller than Steven], with her gem dominating the back of her head and looking like hair.

She ran away from the diamond authority on Earth and has been in hiding ever since.

My attempt to draw a unitard with a transparent overdress is a failure, but I think I managed to get her overall trepidation down.

I’m sure I’ve got something wrong with the face shape. There’s a case of horse face syndrome going on here.

Still working out hands

I’m getting there. I think I need to take this to photoshop or something and go tweaking widths or vectors.

Then I go and learn about making makeup stencils!

I’m drawing more of my assorted critters. This is a sort of rough draft of what Gyiiks might look like.

They’re heavy-worlders and their metabolims need a lot of food, so they’re larger than “hollywood fat”.

…I cheated on the hands. Four is way too many. WHY did I decide to give them four arms?

As you can guess, I was focussing on the hair.
