Less fires overall except that one bit on the border of Victoria and NSW. I’d have thought there’d be nothing left to burn down there. Most of it looks to be in the capital territory…

After a zoom-in, it looks like a lot of folks’ homes are up in flames. Ouch. I hope everyone got out of there okay.

Vote green, and do whatever you can to clean up this sorry world. We can’t do a lot about being a flammable landscape, but we can do some other things to lower the global temperature.

ScoMo apparently hates that people are calling him “Scotty from Marketing” now. Let’s use the hell out of both.

WA is no longer on fire, and there are less fires all over. Large portions of the East coast are on fire AGAIN, so it’s a little win-lose over here.

What you can do if you don’t have money:

  1. Make certain you’re registered to vote
  2. Jump through every legal hoop you can to be able to vote
  3. Vote for the greenest candidate you’ve got
  4. For anything
  5. Repeat from step 1

The only way we can make certain that climate denial is not at the helm of this sinking ship is by NOT voting for climate denial. I don’t care if Senator Oilman is making all the trains run on time, if they don’t have an initiative for greening YOUR area, they’re out.

If you do have money, put it into helping the suffering with a side of greening the world if you can. Thanks.

As you can see, the rain is helping put out a lot of the fires on the East coast, but that still leaves a lot of the rest of the nation up in flames. The news may have stopped talking about it, but it’s going to be a long time before the actual crisis is over.

Despite the rains, we’re still on fire.
The good news is that ScoMo won’t be getting coal money for very much longer. Or he’s going to ride that coal barge all the way down the sinkhole :P

Investors are dumping coal!

Sure, it’s going to tank the Aussie economy for the short term, but it’s a step forward for climate change.

Plus it’s going to be fun to watch ScoMo squirm about this.

Scomo’s  scattering money about in an effort to try and look good. Too little too late IMHO.

Overall, there is less fire in this  wide brown land,  but… there’s  still  way too much of  it.

The younger portions of our Conservative party are saying not only that  Climate Change is real, but also action must be taken and the goals must be raised. Naturally, the older conservatives are pissed off.

This is going to end in a ruckus, I know it.

That spot of five fires in Queensland only seems close to me, it’s actually fairly far away from where I live. I am, for the moment, okay. While I’m okay, you’ll be getting these out of me.
