This has been waiting extra readers for so long that I’m kind of losing hope that it would ever be ready for publishing.

So. I have put the whole box and dice up in BetaBooks, and everyone who wants to can weigh in on everything. I shall endeavour not to go to pieces at the resultant criticism.

They’re literally so busy that there is no time for reading.

Which means I need volunteers NOW.

I need readers, soon, for my finished alpha draft of Kung Fu Zombies.

It has to pass through Beloved’s hands first. Of course.

After that, I will need people who can get back to me in a relatively fast time [if you can devour a book in a day - great! If you can retain info from that, then better] and especially people with a sense of humour.

My idea of funny generally sails over other peoples’ heads. So I need to know when funny can happen in the narrative and how I can do that. Especially if there’s an opportunity for puns.

It’s supposed to be a parody. That means I need jokes. But jokes that don’t kill the book. Or are politically incorrect.

Thing is, I need beta-readers. People willing to read things-I-consider-finished, things-I-don’t-know-what-I’m-doing-with and things-I’m-checking-up-on-to-see-I’m-still-going-in-the-right-direction. AKA WIPs.

I have a whole pet universe I want to share. Short stories, long stories, stories of inbetweenish dimensions… all waiting for readers to help with the quality control.

And I can’t afford to pay because… well… I don’t have an income as of yet.

I’m also going to be experimenting with my pricing and, if I’m really lucky, find someone willing to do some better covers than my own considerable lack of skill.
