I really REALLY hate to beg on the interwebs and I know that by the time any of your money reaches me, I’ll be out of the metaphorical woods and back on what passes for an even keel… but…
It’s been an expensive week.
It’s looking to be expensive next week, too. What with a potential AUS$600 car repair bill hanging over my head. Because coolant leaks result in parts having to come from Tanegashima or whatever because someone had to be the asshole and design parts that couldn’t be reattached once they were detached.
I really don’t like this degree of planned obsolescence. Forcing someone into an expensive repair cycle is not a good look.
I don’t even know if it’s cyclical, but this is what I do know:
- It started with a coolant leak
- Fixing it resulted in a fuel leak
- two-three months later, I have another coolant leak
I’m not saying they did it on purpose, but it certainly feels like that at the moment. I’m not going to be ignoring a petrol smell this time for sure.
