That’a a paranoia alert because the site uses blockchain. None of my virus protections have gone off about it, and as the spouse of a sysadmin, I got some very alert ones.

Can you click through or select “trust this site”? I can promise that Peakd is not malicious in any way.

I need to know what error message you get and which browser you’re using [we all know the system default browsers are rubbish, right?] in an effort to get to the bottom of this.

I just tried the incognito window trick and it seems to be working okay from my end.

All I can think of otherwise is clearing your cookies and trying anew.

Crabs are a universal constant. So much so that they are used in first contact. Earth is strange for the amount of crab types that we have. Keep them away from the Japanese spider crab though. The first alien to see one said it was the equivalent of an eldrich monstrosity.

Sorry, but the correct place to post a prompt for my daily flash fictions is over here: https://www.internutter.org/bb/category/6/prompts

I have, however, added this to my queue of prompts [currently standing at 84 prompts in the queue] on your behalf, properly credited.

I wish to send a writing prompt. How does the submit thing work? Does it do all the text, or can you select what text you do?

"

If you’re sending a fanfic prompt, just do what you did here. If you want a flash fiction to occur at a later date, then follow the link at the bottom of my last Instant on steemit (I’m browsing on my phone rn and getting the link is problematic for me) and make a new post at the forum it links you to.

No membership is necessary, no signups for spam, no bullshit. Just go to the forum and post. Do read the pinned post for the things I find annoying and the subject matter I draw the line at. Please.

Hope this helps :)

Anonymous asked, "In the set of tweets you reblogged about nazi's, isnt the ((( ))) a dogwhistle used by neo nazis to mean jews?"

internutter:

Yes, it is. This is someone who CHOSE to use said dogwhistle as part of their twitter identity, so my best guess is that they were defiantly identifying themself as Jewish or a sympathiser to the Jewish cause.

A neonazi would not dogwhistle their own name. Logic therefore dictates that this person is not a neonazi. As further evidenced by their actual calling out of nazis and how they normalised violence against everyone else.

In this case, I think the content of the message is important and I did spend some time in consideration before reblogging.

This is not one of those instances where I didn’t know about it because of which device I was using. This is definitely someone who chose to label themselves in a manner identifying themself as Jewish to anyone who could perceive said dogwhistle.

I made a choice to pass along the information and hope that my conclusions were accurate. If I had the time, I would have done some research and added any factoids I found about the problematic part so I could put all minds at ease.

I do not now, nor ever will endorse racism, sexism, terfism, or swerfism. Exclusion based on prejudice is not my way. Education, awareness, the spreading of knowledge, and the sharing of puns is my way.

When it comes to vital information, sometimes the contents are more important than the metaphorical wrapping paper. I made that call today.

If I could do it again, I would take the time to make certain.

Addendum: I’ve had a look and the dude is (a) no longer using the brackets, (b) now using a flame emoji in his twitter handle, and © very much an anti-nazi, anti-fascist, anti-dictator much like myself.

Even though the nazi information was posted in 2017, he’s still speaking out against fascist dictatorships and prejudice in its multitude of forms.

I still don’t know what the flame emoji means in the context of a twitter handle and can only hope it isn’t something mean.

I am moderately confident that he is not a nazi.

Love this!! But isn’t Taako allergic to peanuts?

Yes. Yes he is. He doesn’t cook food he can eat when he’s depressed. It’s a form of Extra Punishment™ either in the flavour of “you don’t deserve to eat” or “this is the slowest, most painful death possible to see if anyone actually cares.”

The magical chef wizard is a complication of multiple dimensions and his family knows all his tells.

recklessprudence asked, "I'm sorry about sending you a fanfic prompt, I thought we were still in the year that someone had already done so, so you weren't getting any money anyway - if I had've realised we were in a new year, I would've held on to that one! Also fyi, you referred to Frisk with a she pronoun once, when all the rest were gender-neutral - I'm assuming that was unintentional, since you're usually so careful about their pronouns. Just thought I'd let you know."

Well, someone else already broke the streak with Starlight Brigade so I’m not entirely bent out of shape. I had hopes, is all.

I blame Smashwords. It’s illegal to make a profit out of fanfiction, so they now have a search engine that looks for anyone else’s IP and then flags the work unless you hand it out for free. I was on thin ice with Starlight Brigade, but now… eh. It’s another free book. It’s not like many people were paying for the anthologies, anyway.

As for the Frisk thing - fark. I do make that mistake sometimes. It’s fixed in the archives, I promise.

You’re forgiven BTW.

“Challenge #02399-F209: They Can’t Have Nice Things Anymore”

Are all of this challengues happening in the same universe? Or humans working alongside aliens just happen to be a fav one of yours?

All my Amalgam Universe tagged Instants happen in the same universe. Sometimes vastly different parts of it, but definitely the same universe.

It is a place where:

  • Humans are considered, as a species, insane
  • Humans are also Space Orcs despite being 4.5 (at most) level Deathworlders
  • Earth is Space Australia
  • Luck can be genetic, and it comes out in weird ways
  • Gengineered life forms are a thing and they’re called ELFs for Engineered Life Form
  • There are also Elves, but they’re gengineered from Human stock and considered Mostly Human
  • There is technically time travel, but it’s mostly useless
  • Also the brane of our universe butts up against the brane of another and that leads to wormholes through which most folks fast-travel, since speeds above Light Speed are currently out of reach.

There’s like 1000 stories in the Amalgam Universe, or more… I haven’t counted. It’s my pet universe and I love it and I hope you look it up because it’s been fun writing all that nonsense.

Anonymous asked, "

Is your personal website the place to submit all prompts and ideas, or just those for original fiction?

"

I prefer to get flash fanfiction prompts here on tumblr. If you want to see an original Instant Story™ then you should drop a prompt on my website and wait patiently for the queue to work around to yours.

Smashwords has changed its policies recently to exclude fanfic content from earning any kind of income, so I’d prefer to keep fanfic very far away from my Instants until further notice. I’m still debating charging a fixed price for my Year of Instants, this year. I mean - I did publish all those stories for free and charging for the anthology feels… a teensy bit scummy. IDK

Thanks for the query, friendo, and I hope to see some prompts from you soon!
