Daily OpusEverything I write is freely rebloggable. Just keep the source and tell people about my books :D [Until I decide otherwise, my pronouns are Ze/Hir/Hirself. As in "Ze went to the shops to get hir medication hirself". Thank you for the respect.]
Disney be like Mulan was enough. Tiana was enough. You don’t need anymore representation than that one character. Besides White is normal. White is easier to relate to for audiences. A successful poc cast does not work. We tried.
Rebecca be like “look at my cast!”
Disney be like no moms and if she is there the story was more about the protagonist’s relationship with the dad than.
Disney be like “we’ll make on or two tomboy warrior princesses but they can’t look to far away from our other princesses. Thicker body and muscles is too masculine and unappealing to look at”
Disney be like we can’t give our princesses character growth because that would mean we would have to give them flaws and real goals but princesses aren’t suppose to have flaws!
