Let Me Introduce You To Our New Social Media Person

bunnybennett:

Actually, I’m your new social media person! Well, you know, I did it for the last 7 or so years.

Until we find a suitable replacement, I’ll be working hard to give you a daily dose of Steam Powered Giraffe on your feeds.

Since I’m back to doing this, and I like creating symmetry across the brand… I’ve created Walter Worker Di; the newly appointed happy-go-lucky social media person in lore.

Di is a blue skinned humanoid. She actually takes inspiration from my original unused concept for Walter Workers- that they were the decedents of great Blue Matter Witches. We went in a different direction, but I thought it was a great concept to bring back.

She has an identical twin sister named Liv, who is…well…quite the opposite of her sister. She’s also a pro at dangerous, reality-bending technology. You’ll learn more about her in the Red Core comic!

I hope you enjoy the Walter Witches Liv and Di!

Heh. Heh…

Get it…

:B I’ll draw these guys soon. But I’d love to see some fan takes on em. Remember…blue skin!

Headcannons go:

Di is short for Dianne. She’s super perky pretty much 24/7 and has a silver lining for every cloud. She may be one of the few Walter Workers who are not annoyed by the bots being energetic morning people.

Liv is short for Aliveralani (because Walter Witches are almost universally from Kazooland and Kazoolanders have to have one impossible name) and is the more staid twin. People mistake her for being gloomy in comparison to her sister, but she’s a stone cold punster with a dry and acerbic wit.

Both twins are stunningly beautiful and have jet black hair. Di has long, straight hair with bangs while Liv keeps hers short and deshabille.

They both smell like marshmallows.

They have a series of lines for people who comment on their skin tone(eg: “Do you object to people of colour?”). Some lines are capable of giving real burns.

Something about Actual Dragon Steve Negrette rubs them the wrong way, but neither twin is hostile about it. Di is working on a cure.

They can fly by using broomsticks, just not the way you think they would. Think pogo stick instead.

They both laugh at Mundane horror movies.

Liv usually has a thick paperback book in one pocket or in her purse. It’s a new one every day.

Di downloads her novels onto her Waltercorp Tablet despite having to stop QWERTY from reading aloud for her every time she opens the file.
