Three more legs done. This is a lot of effort for a few seconds on screen.
I twiddled with the layer order so you could see them all.
I did the flappy bits of Rabbits dress, and I’ve started on her right leg. Definitely fixing the forced perspective on the rearmost one though.
If you flick between these, you might get a rough idea of how the animation might go. Still haven’t got a copy of adobe animation yet, and it’s the only animation software I know of that will work with PSD’s.
All cheaper suggestions welcome. I need the layers tho.
So eager to be done with the art for this shot…
Four right arms done!
Next on my list, her dress tails and ribbon flapping. Those are going to be two-frame wonders like the hair.
Torso coloured! I’ve put the hair on another layer so I can do some two-frame animation on it.
And I’m using the “no hat == dream” thing because Rabbit’s hat is a bitch to draw.
This is technically intense. I predict a lot of layer-specific erasing in my future.
‘Bodhisattva’ Rabbit. In reality, all the arm and leg poses I plan for the animation.
I will be inking and colouring the torso and head before I move on to those arms and legs, so it’s going to get a little weird around here.
I am not doing lip sync. Just. No. Too much detail.
The rabbit hole rocks are starting to look like they’re rubber band balls lol. Blur tool and textures should fix that. I hope.
It’s only going to be on screen for a few seconds at best. I shouldn’t fret.
Third shot background progress!
I’m not yet satisfied with the ‘earthy’ look of this background just yet, but I am finally working on the first shot with actual lyrics in it.
This shot goes with the words, “Catch me, I’m falling.” And it will feature Rabbit falling and flailing towards the centre.
I’ll draw her after this 'hole’ looks earthy enough.
