Started colouring a Rabbit to make sure she pops against the BG. Didn’t get as far as the hair because she’s actually huge.
Tomorrow, I should finish the hair and get on with the BG.

Mor mess!
Finished inking the turnaround, and now I’m working on the background.
The idea here is motion blur. It’ll look better when it’s done.

Did some more inking.
All this mess is like three frames of the turnaround.

Messy messy mess!
I did all 360 degrees of Rabbit with the help of the magic arrow. And now I’m inking.
Any ideas about the arms are greatly appreciated. Feel free to suggest.

This time, without a copyright case making trouble for anyone.

Not my fault, this time. The 2009 print of Album One wasn’t on the verboten list. So I just deleted the bad video and uploaded this one.

Thought I’d show you a speedpaint of all the work I did for this one shot. Now with music that’s legit :)

More unholy mess. Sketchy style.
I’m still flirting with ideas, here, figuring out how to spin Rabbit. And I have no clue what to do with her arms.
I’ll figure it out eventually.

Bunny’s skirts are done!

Don’t have time for all the rest of it, I have another busy day ahead. Which includes guests.

Colouring! Whee!
Also, the answer to “How many flappy bits can I duplicate and flip and get away with it?” Is… ALL OF THEM MWA-HAHAHAHA!
It did require moving them around a little, but I can deal.

I’m really very glad because this shot is already driving me to frustration with how much I have to do.

There’s two ways to use the blur tool - be messy and erase the excess afterwards, or put the new stuff on a new layer and merge down afterwards. The latter is great for when you need precision blur. I used both on Vintage!Rabbit. And, in the event that you want a sharp shadow, drawing over the blur in the shadow colour is the charm.

This thing has so many layers, I can’t even. I had to rename lots of them because about a dozen were Layer 27 for some reason.

Tomorrow - Bunny’s skirts, hair, and possibly the turn frame.

On to animation frames. I still have to do a ‘between’ frame for Rabbit’s turn, which involves redrawing EVERYONE… but for now, I shall focus on colouring this lot.

Shown here: the sketch and ink layers at once. My biggest problem was Vintage!Rabbit’s legs.

Most of this might not even be seen in the final shot, but I am a stickler for the details. _I’ll_ know it’s there.

Tomorrow, I shall be playing “How Much of Rabbit’s Flappy Bits Can I Duplicate And Flip And Get Away With It?” Because redrawing stuff is a pain in the butt.

And yes, I did finally decide on the corroded look for the ears on Bunny’s mirror. It just communicates better. Big thanks to the one person who gave me some input
