Proofs of concept.

Thanks to @callmegallifreya pointing me towards this tutorial on Pinterest, I figured out how to do a basic wire ear cuff, with and without a loop for dangly things. I can decorate the plain one with a bead if it has a large enough orifice, as shown here.

Future cuffs with dangles will involve chain, simply because the pin arrangements don’t dangle enough.

I also learned that 7cm is the bare minimum for a plain cuff. 10cm for a looped design.

And fool I cut ten INCHES from my hoard of wire for practice. Derp derp de derp derp.

And you don’t need a ring sizer to do the curve for a cuff. A post office pen will suffice. Huzzah for cheap solutions.

Every Girl Deserves Beautiful.

There are ladies out there who can’t, won’t, or don’t know if they want to- have holes in their earlobes. And since that’s standard for femininity, those ladies feel left out.

So I’m going to start making non-standard earrings for non-standard ladies. Clip-ons that are not just boring old buttons. Things that are fun to wear, pretty to look at, or give you an opportunity to show some pride in who you are.

I’m still in the process of getting my stuff together, but in two weeks or so, I should have some stuff to show everyone. And since it is the very baby beginnings, do expect some limitations. I am, after all, just one ‘Nutter with a compact set of skills.

But I do believe that all girls [and why not some guys? You can try on shiny things, too] deserve to have beautiful things to help them feel happy.
