Between the randomly appearing banner and now this on my dash, it is clear tumblr is just wildly testing random shit by stringing together five lines of code and throwing it at a wall to see what happens.

Like. What is the point of this? There’s no way to click through and see the post. Why bother telling me at all?

There is a way and I use it regularly.

1) seek out the ‘reblogged from’ linkie at the top of the post and click that mofo

2) you will now be one tier back in time from the blocked post and looking at that edgy, edgy content

3) when reblogging from there, please tag it #sfw if it actually is sfw

4) that post is no longer removed from visibility on your dash if you have tagged it sfw

Always remember that Tumblr is broken and there’s like fifteen ways to get around whatever crappy thing the staff have implemented.
