Daily OpusEverything I write is freely rebloggable. Just keep the source and tell people about my books :D [Until I decide otherwise, my pronouns are Ze/Hir/Hirself. As in "Ze went to the shops to get hir medication hirself". Thank you for the respect.]
I should note at this point that “Pantsing” or “Being a Pantser” is writer parlance for just writing the story without much in the way of framework. No plot points, we die like kings.
I… am a Pantser. I have only recently discovered the joy of having plot points, or event milestones, to give me direction when I write. It’s still a very bare skeleton that I then fill with worldbuilding and lots of narrative, but it’s better than getting stuck on what happens next.
Idk I think if police officers accidentally pull their firearm when they intend to use their taser on someone maybe they shouldn’t be trusted with firearms I think that’s a pretty clear demonstration that it’s too much responsibility for them to handle especially considering this isn’t eventhe first timethis has happened
Yet these are the people who will be exempt from any form of gun control
Trying to find a clean copy of “Mutant on the Bounty” (1989) because of all the cheesy movies I ever viewed, it is one of the most ludicrously cheesy I have ever enjoyed.
I like watching the odd horribad SciFi, okay?
So far…
1. Nobody’s streaming it (shocker) 2. Nobody’s seeding it on torrents (shocker) 3. It was never released on DVD (Ugh) 4. It’s only available on VHS
Specifically, NTSC VHS. Like I don’t even know if our old coed VHS player even works, so I’m less than inclined to buy it.
Sigh.
I don’t suppose anyone knows any YouTube archives that aren’t supposed to be there? Or Russian on-demand video places nobody’s supposed to visit. I’d prefer quality, but in this case… Best available will do.
Found it!
Be warned: Terrible cheap scifi movie is both terrible and cheap.

oh god it’s that time of the year again, so here are some quick reminders:
The content allowed on AO3 is legal according to American law. This is a sensible place to draw the line when your explicitly stated aim is to have a fanfiction site where the content is not subjected to random purges for obscure reasons
AO3 is run by a non-profit organisation. Nobody is making any money out of this, and when the donation drive goal is exceeded, excess money will go to running the site in the future and fighting potential legal battles for the right to create fanworks
It’s possible to donate to AO3 and various charities etc, stop acting as though every cent donated to AO3 is a cent taken from “people who need it more”
“Fiction affects reality” yes but the fiction that actually has a societal impact is the latest heteronormative, subtly racist, mass marketed drivel from Disney, not that one properly tagged incest PWP fic with 150 hits and 40 kudos on AO3
and it’s not received the proper attention it deserves in the Canadian news, so I thought it would be good to make a post for ppl who aren’t Canadian as well to be informed and help the victims’ families, organisations and women’s shelters.

I haven’t been able to find any gofundmes and donation links set up by the families of the victims. however, here are women’s shelters in Quebec and in Canada you can donate to and resources for women in Canada.
