Gender matters not in this regard because men and women have both done awful things to those with less power than them. And sadly some people think women on average get abused more and suffer more than men and get fixated on that idea which evidence is shaky at best due to societies Dismissal of male victims. Either way victims need to be heard and respected.

  37. localenthusiastichistorian said: It hardly maters what gender/sex the person is, if that person has power over other people they might abuse that power. In a religious sense pastors,priests nuns and the like hold some form of power over others especially children. In a school environment teachers have power over students and the principal/Higher ups in the school have power over students and teachers. In a society policemen have power over citizens as well as polotitions and celebrities.
