  25. candyace-main said: @serendipitous-child Its where they’re from. Im might be wrong but if you’re an ethnically jewish person, your ancestry comes from hebrews of the ancient middle east. There are other smaller ethnic groups within it as well but most arent recognized. Christianity and Islam dont base themselves around a single ethnicity but Judaism is much older.

  35. serendipitous-child said: @c4ndyr3d how did they swing that? I think I might need to be ignorant for a while on this end until my mind’s wrapped around this

  38. candyace-main said: @serendipitous-child Its weird but yes, its also an ethnicity. It id possible to be of Jewish ethnicity and not religion and vice versa. Usually they are combined.
  39. serendipitous-child said: @c4ndyr3d is it like paperwork we gotta sign cause I would like being black to be an religion. I’m willing to do the work .. this is not a joke. 😶
  40. serendipitous-child said: @c4ndyr3d that is sooooo true!!! But I gotta admit thou, thru all this I still can’t understand how Judaism can be both an ethnicity and a religion like.. 🧐🧐🧐🤨 how? It’s a faith like any.. so how can it …. how?
  41. candyace-main said: @serendipitous-child Sadly cant change what other people do. And I agree on not pushing people to the back to acknowledge those with recognition already. I do wish that things could just be peaceful all around and all those who need recognition would get it but thats idealizing a thing that, at least in this country, may never happen :’(

But the US is a bag of dicks and wont realize our wrongdoings. And obviously PoC and LGBT in America have much more to fear but that doesnt mean that others dont. Neo Nazism and the KKK are still on the rise in America. A lot of people of any race, ethnicity, or religion (except white and christian) have fear rn.
