  23. caffeinatedunicorn said: my arm supporting my weight mid-vault somehow gave out at the shock of what happened to my knee and my body went sideways. I broke 4 ribs hitting the back of the couch and landed on my back on the floor. I couldn’t move to fix my knee because of the excruciating pain in my ribs and my phone was on the couch where I had been sitting so I had to lay there for 20 minutes listening to Ferris Bueller’s day off until my parents walked in and flipped out at their broken daughter laying on the ground.

  27. caffeinatedunicorn said: My right knee dislocates all the time. Not popping or twisting, full on knee cap on the side of my leg dislocating. It hurts like a bitch but I usually push it back in and move on. One time I was watching a movie while home alone and as I vaulted over the back of the couch with some snacks (bc who walks around the couch to sit like a normal person when mom isn’t there to yell at you) my knee chose that exact moment to dislocate. What comes next happened so fast I don’t remember it very clearly

  40. aka-azureavian said: I was watching the finale of the 3rd season of Skins (the race) and got so excited by JJ’s speech that I jumped to my feet on the couch, jumped up and down and felt my leg slide out from under me. I babied it til it felt a little better but then felt it pop when getting out of my dad’s car a week later. I ended up with a torn meniscus and tendon, needing surgery.
